Clear + Brilliant laser: what to expect before, during and after
The gentle fractional laser known as the baby laser. How it feels, how long the pinkness lasts and when you will see your glow.
Quick answer: Clear + Brilliant is a gentle fractional laser that improves tone, texture and pores. Expect warmth during treatment, 1 to 2 days of pinkness, and a visible glow within a week. A course of 3 to 6 gives the best results.
Who it suits
Clear + Brilliant is ideal if your skin looks dull or uneven, your pores are becoming more visible, or you want to get ahead of early signs of ageing without real downtime. It is safe for all skin types and tones.
It is also a popular choice before weddings and events, booked a few weeks in advance.
On the day
We cleanse your skin and apply numbing cream for around 30 minutes. The laser itself takes about 15 to 20 minutes and feels warm with a light prickle.
We use one or both wavelengths: 1440nm for texture and pores, 1927nm for pigmentation and dullness.
Afterwards
Your skin will look pink and feel warm, like mild sunburn, for a day or two. A fine sandpapery texture follows as treated cells renew, then a fresher, brighter complexion appears within about a week.
Use a gentle cleanser, a good moisturiser and SPF 30 or higher every day.
How many sessions
One session gives a visible refresh. A course of 3 to 6 sessions, two to four weeks apart, builds collagen and gives the biggest improvement in texture and tone.
