About us

This website and clinic are run by Skin Deep Aesthetics Laser & Skin Clinic Ltd, a company registered in Northern Ireland (no. NI743898). Registered office: 30 Clooney Terrace, Londonderry, BT47 6AR. These terms apply when you book a treatment, buy a treatment course, gift voucher or product from us, or use this website. Please read them together with our booking policy, delivery and returns policy and privacy policy.

Bookings and consultations

• Your booking is confirmed when you receive our confirmation email or message.
• Treatments are for clients aged 18 and over.
• Every treatment is subject to a consultation. We may decline or postpone treatment if it is not safe or suitable for you, for example because of a medical condition, medication, pregnancy, a recent tan or active skin infection. If we cannot treat you, any amount you have paid for that treatment is refunded or held as credit.
• Laser hair removal needs a free consultation and patch test at least 48 hours before your first session.
• You agree to give us accurate, complete information about your health and to follow the aftercare advice we give you.
• Changes, cancellations, late arrivals and missed appointments are covered by our booking policy. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged £10.

Results

Results vary from person to person and depend on your skin, your health, your lifestyle and how closely you follow aftercare advice. We will always explain what you can realistically expect, but we cannot guarantee a particular result. Most treatments work best as a course.

Prices

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. They are correct at the time of publishing and the price confirmed at booking is the price you pay. If an error in a price is obvious, we will contact you before going ahead.

Treatment courses and packages

• Courses and packages (for example a course of 3, or laser hair removal packages of 3, 6 or 10 sessions) are paid in full up front and are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
• A course is personal to the client it was bought for, is for the treatment and area stated, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Each session in a course is booked separately and our booking policy applies to every session. A missed session or one cancelled at short notice may be counted as used.
• If a consultation or patch test shows the treatment is not suitable for you, we will refund the course in full. If you cannot continue a course for medical reasons, please contact us and we will refund or transfer the unused sessions.

Paying with Klarna

Where Klarna is offered, it is provided by Klarna Bank AB (publ), not by us. Pay-later and instalment options are subject to Klarna's approval and terms, which you agree with Klarna at checkout. We receive full payment from Klarna, so your agreement to repay is with Klarna. Late repayments can affect your credit score. Klarna is not suitable if you are unsure you can keep up repayments.

Buying online: your right to cancel

If you buy products, a treatment course or a gift voucher on our website, you have the right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations:

• Products: you can cancel within 14 days of delivery. Returns and refunds are explained in our delivery and returns policy. For hygiene reasons, opened skincare cannot be returned unless it is faulty.
• Treatment courses and gift vouchers: you can cancel within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. If you ask us to start a treatment within those 14 days and then cancel, we will deduct the full single-session price for each session you have had.

To cancel, email info@skindeepaesthetics.clinic with your order number. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 14 days. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Online orders

Your order is accepted when we send your confirmation email. If an item turns out to be unavailable, we will let you know and refund you in full. Prescription-only products are supplied only after a consultation with one of our prescribers, and some professional skincare is only recommended after a skin consultation.

Gift vouchers

Valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Can be used towards any treatment or product at Skin Deep Aesthetics. Not exchangeable for cash. Treatments are subject to a consultation and, for laser hair removal, a patch test. Please quote your voucher code when booking. Lost voucher codes can be re-sent to the original buyer.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with a treatment, product or our service, please tell us as soon as possible by phone or email so we can put it right. If you have any concerns after a treatment, contact us straight away and we will see you to review it.

Our responsibility to you

We provide our treatments with reasonable care and skill, by trained practitioners. We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Using this website

The information on this website, including our blog and skin guides, is general and is not a substitute for a consultation or medical advice. Please speak to your GP about any medical concern. All text and images are owned by us or used under licence and may not be copied without permission. We may update the website and these terms from time to time.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and the courts of Northern Ireland have jurisdiction.
