An IPL photo facial uses intense pulsed light to target the two things that make skin look tired and uneven: excess pigment from sun damage, and redness from visible blood vessels. The light is absorbed by these targets and broken down, while the surrounding skin is left intact.
Brown spots usually darken slightly and flake away over a week or so, and redness calms gradually over a course. It is quick, comfortable and fits easily around a working day.
Why clients choose it
- Fades sun spots and patchy pigmentation
- Reduces redness and broken capillaries
- Evens out overall skin tone
- Minimal downtime
Ideal for
Sun damage, brown spots, redness, flushing and uneven tone.
Who will treat you
Wendy Sloan (Laser & Skin Specialist) or Ciara Gallagher (Clinic Director & Skin Specialist).
Questions clients ask
Is IPL the same as laser?
IPL uses a broad spectrum of light rather than a single laser wavelength. It is excellent for treating pigment and redness together. We will advise which suits your skin at consultation.
